The company was founded by Carl J. Nielsen in 1923, and is run today by the third generation of his family, Michael K. Nielsen.

The company is centrally located in Denmark.
Carl J. Nielsen built their current factory in 1978, and, due to a particularly rapid period of development, it became necessary to expand the production area in 1991 and in 2008 we have build a new stock.

The company's policy of constantly focusing on production processes and the most recent technological advances has made the production centre in Randers well equipped to meet the demands of the future concerning delivery reliability and quality.
